Introduction

In pega data elements are called Properties or Fieds.Property and fields are different names for the same thing.Properties can be either single value or collection of related values.In pega typically we will work with 2 types of property modes as

  • 1.Value Mode Properties
  • 2.Page Mode Properties
  • The following screenshot shows the value and page mode properties available in pega

    1.Value Mode Properties

    Value Modes describes a single piece of information such as total.In pega there are 3 value mode properties available as

  • A.Single Value
  • B.Value List
  • B.Value Group

    A.Single Value

    A Single Value or scalar property srores text,numbers,boolean values and amounts.

    B.Value List

    A Value List acts as container for an ordered list of single values.

    C.Value Group

    A Value Group acts as container for an unordered list of single values.

    2.Page Mode Properties

    Page Modes describes a data objects such ascustomer data.If you need to establish an contextual relationship between single value properties , in pega we have 3 types of page mode properties as

  • A.Pages
  • B.Page List
  • B.Page Group

    A.Pages

    A Page is a single entity.The customer is an example of the page property.A page is also refered as an field group.

    B.Page List

    A Page List is a numerically ordered list .

    C.Page Group

    A Page Group is an unordered list.The address property is an example of page group.
