If you want to transfer the work or task from one operator to another operator or to multiple operators, then we will use Routing concept. Routing can be done in flow under assignment shapes. In PEGA we have 2 types of routing concepts as,
Work list is also called as Operator. A worklist is a list of all assignments, in order of importance of a specific user i.e, if you want to transfer work from one operator to another operator we will use worklist.
Work Queue is also called a Work Basket. A work basket is a list of all assignments, in order of importance for a group of users. i.e, if u want to transfer the work from one operator to multiple operators, we will use work queue.
We have 3 types of Routing options available in PEGA as we can route the assignment to an Current User or Specific User or Group
* If u route an assignment to a Current User, then the current user should complete the assignment.
* If u route an assignment to the Worklist of a Specific User, then the specific users have to complete the assignment.
* If u route an assignment to the Work Queue for a specific group, then anyone in that group can complete the assignment.
You can use business logic routing based on When Condition when you want to route work based on certain conditions.
