Cases & Case Types

In PEGA application, you use case types to model repeatable business transactions. A case type is an abstract model of the business transaction. A case is a specific instance of the transaction( Ex: PEGA creates a case for each order created by the user in online).

Stages

Stages represents the transfer of case from one caseworker to another.A primary page is a high-level phase in the life cycle of the case

Process & Steps

A Process contaions sequence of steps or tasks that user completes as they worl the case.A Step is either a user action or automated action perforemed by the APPLICATION.

Alternate Stage

Cases usually progess one primary stage to the next.Use Alternate Stages to organize process steps when case does not follow the primary path.
